Remarkably, he has _never_ owned a cell phone 📵.

His perspective draws from scripture: when Moses came down the mountain ⛰️ and saw God’s people dancing around the Golden Calf 🐂💃, Moses was angry, but more disappointed. He understood that this idol of worship would blind his people from knowing the presence of the one true God in their everyday life 🙏.

He often asks: could the modern-day cell phone 📱💻 — this “computer perfection” — be the prophesied mark/object on the hand and at the forehead? 🤔 Will it also blind people to God's presence and become the only way to buy and sell, fulfilling the prophesied cashless society? 💳🚫.

For him, the New World Order 🌍 is the Internet. Never before has anyone been so easily able to connect to someone anywhere in the world — places as far as Russia 🇷🇺 or China 🇨🇳. Today he believes the answer is simple convenience 🛍️. So subtle that many will not notice what is happening, nor be able to let go of the mark/object once they have it. Even if recognized, many will hold onto it by choice. The object becomes their identity 🪪, a must-have status symbol ✨.

He clarifies: the cell phone itself is _not_ the issue — no more than the golden calf was to dance around, or a bottle of whisky 🥃 on the table before an alcoholic. Does he take this seriously? Hmm 🤷 Can evil isolate or influence us through technology? 🕸️.

He misses the simpler times of the early 20th Century when “families huddled together” 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 around the warmth of the big AM Radio 📻, excited by the crackling sound of a radio program from a faraway place 🎙️.

As a test of faith, he chooses not to have a cell phone 📵 or mark his body with tattoos, as today’s cell phone generation expresses itself.

“Now if I could only get rid of this computer?” 💻😅.

He often steps outside to Look Up ⬆️👀, watching for black helicopters 🚁 and contrails ✈️, hoping, if lucky, to experience something truly special…
