A retired Tech for Beckman Coulter Inc. 🧪⚙️ — though “retired” is used loosely. Today, he serves as a Professor of Electronics for students across the internet 🌐🎓  

Remarkably, he has _never_ owned a cell phone 📵  

His perspective draws from scripture: when Moses came down the mountain ⛰️ and saw God’s people dancing around the Golden Calf 🐂💃, Moses was angry, but more disappointed. He understood that this idol of worship would blind his people from knowing the presence of the one true God in their everyday life 🙏  

He often asks: could the modern day cell phone 📱💻 — this “computer perfection” — be the prophesied mark/object on the hand and at the forehead? 🤔 Will it also blind people to God's presence and become the only way to buy and sell, fulfilling the prophesied cashless society? 💳🚫  

He notes the strange coincidence that the words _computer_ and _perfection_ each total "666" when A=6, B=12, C=18, etc 😮 A Multiple 6 Code Calculator 🧮 can show how letters in different words add up.  

For him, the New World Order 🌍 is the Internet. Never before has anyone been so easily able to connect to someone anywhere in the world — places as far as Russia 🇷🇺 or China 🇨🇳. Platforms like Facebook and Twitter 📲 are part of this global communication.  

Scripture says that when the moment of truth comes, it will be communicated around the world in a moment ⚡🌎 Years ago he couldn’t imagine how. As a child he wondered why anyone would want the prophesied biblical mark/object from Revelation 📜  

Today he believes the answer is simple convenience 🛍️ So subtle that many will not notice what is happening, nor be able to let go of the mark/object once they have it. Even if recognized, many will hold onto it by choice. The object becomes their identity 🪪, a must-have status symbol ✨  

He clarifies: the cell phone itself is _not_ the issue — no more than the golden calf was to dance around, or a bottle of whisky 🥃 on the table before an alcoholic. It’s about human behavior and how we express ourselves to one another 🫂  

He recalls a time when people walked in the forest 🌲 to pray or meditate toward something greater than self. Today, he sees most people disconnected from reality 😶‍🌫️, absorbed into the digital realm, isolating themselves from life with ear buds 🎧  

His reminder: Be still, for God is quiet now 🤫 You must seek Him to know Him. He moves like a breeze through the trees 🍃 — we know not from where He comes, but we know everyday we are in His presence ☀️  

Does he take this seriously? Hmm 🤷 Can evil isolate or influence us through technology? 🕸️  

He misses the simpler times of the early 20th Century when “families huddled together” 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 around the warmth of the big AM Radio 📻, excited by the crackling sound of a radio program from a far away place 🎙️  

As a test of faith, he chooses not to have a cell phone 📵 or mark his body with tattoos, as today’s cell phone generation expresses itself.  

“Now if I could only get rid of this computer?” 💻😅  

He often steps outside to Look Up ⬆️👀, watching for black helicopters 🚁 and contrails ✈️ Hoping, if lucky, to experience something truly special…  

He feels a particular video sums things up better than he could, from a different perspective 🎬✨
