## Introducing Rockville Peace Rocks: A Timeless Tribute to Loved Ones

## Our Founder's Story

In 2017, our founder lost her beloved mother, Tina. During a difficult time of grief, her family stumbled upon random kindness rocks and memory stones while on walks and outings. These small gestures brought comfort and inspiration to their lives.

Inspired by these finds, our founder began creating her own peace rocks in memory of her mother. She painted designs inspired by her mother's artwork and added her name and dates on the back. She then hid these rocks at the beach in Oceanside, CA, a place that held special meaning for her mother.

This personal experience sparked the idea for Rockville Rocks, which started as a Facebook page in 2018. Our founder began creating and hiding painted rocks with inspirational messages, hoping to bring joy and comfort to those who found them.

## A New Partnership is Born

In recent years, our founder met Jeni Stepanek, also known as "Mama Peace," mother of the remarkable young poet and peace advocate, Mattie J.T. Stepanek. Together, they partnered to create a special project, #MeghanRocks, in memory of Meghan Jones.

This partnership inspired us to expand our mission and offer peace rocks specifically designed for families and loved ones who have experienced loss. And so, Rockville Peace Rocks was born.

## How It Works

Our smooth river rocks, similar to skipping stones, come with a QR code using a proprietary direct to ink 🔏 🫟 transfer method to apply and seal resin epoxy sealed on one side. The other side is left blank for you to decorate with art, words, phrases, dates, names, messages, or images that honor your loved one.
